Launched in 2000, SOG has transformed ICI’s redundant Runcorn headquarters at The Heath into a world-class business and technical park, supporting more than 185 different organisations and employing a combined workforce of over 1,700 people – more than in ICI’s heyday.
This phenomenal success story, which has attracted commendation by the Prime Minister, government ministers and industry experts, is a formula which is now being applied to The Hexagon Tower in Manchester and through the ‘Fusion’ initiative is on offer to industrial sites and businesses across the UK needing regeneration or growth management.
SOG also offers technical and scientific support in a wide variety of areas from glass blowing and laboratory services to the highly successful "Deal With It ®" behavioural safety training package, delivered by the company’s SHE Group consultancy.
