Science Regeneration

SOG Ltd has an impressive track record in science regeneration. The Heath had everything stacked against it as it faced closure under ICI in 2000. However the vision of SOG directors has transformed an old industrial site into a thriving, successful business and technical park. From a single- occupancy site, The Heath is now home to more than 185 businesses and over 1,700 people – an achievement which resulted in SOG Managing Director Dr Peter Cook being named Cheshire Business Person of the Year in 2006. Many government ministers and captains of industry have encouraged SOG to share its winning formula with other ailing industrial sites – a project which has been launched as a new company, Fusion Ltd.

The Fusion project has huge potential to develop new business opportunities around the UK – breathing new life into decaying sites, retaining and protecting skills, encouraging invention and innovation and offering its investors handsome returns on their investments.
